Yes as you can see above I am officially WordPress’ fastest growing blog. I was delighted when I saw this as I have only been blogging for 3 days now and I feel honoured, and it’s all thanks to you guys! It inspired me to create a logo for The Cannon and here is one of my ideas, might not be the final one.

Now I gotta figure out how to have this somewhere on the main page, remeber I’m very much an amateur at this game! Cheers people!

Exclusive to The Cannon Insider Chelsea News 21 May, 2006

I’ve just been told some news that I think you’d all wanna hear. Now I dunno how correct this is but if it is true then remember you heard it here 1st on The Cannon. My friend’s mate plays for the Chelski youth team and I’m told he was having a wonder about the bridge and looking at all the new furnishings and went in to look at the new dressing rooms as they have all the players names on the lockers now. He was looking around and saw Frank Lampard, John Terry and Micheal Ballack, but then he came across Roberto Carlos. Yes, this is a Cannon exclusive that Carlos has agreed to sign Chelsea. I’ve got the actual e-mail from my friend here if u like:

“mate, if you want some inside news- this is exclusive- my mate who plays for chelsea, in the 1st team dressing room they have new lockers put in – one headed ROBERTO CARLOS cnt remember the other but will send u them 2moz – this is not shit about, for real this bloke is kosha! might wana put it on your website!”

I think this is massive news as Chelsea plan to bring in another world class signing. Carlos is arguably the best left back in the world and is a position where they haven’t managed to fill with some real talent and I think we all remember their infamous attempt to lure Ashley over there. Even though Carlos is now 33 and coming to the end of his career, he is still an excellant player and would be a pleasure to see him in the Premiership in the same way that people are saying about Henry. However the fact of the matter is, he will be Chelski, he will be scum, full-stop.

This news would mean that Madrid now have a Galactico to replace and their desire to capture Ash is well known, he might be tempted to go and join them but I think he will stay to play in a side including Thierry Henry. I will save Arsenal transfer talk for another post but I just got this news and I thought I should get it published asap. Also my mate said there was another guy too so as soon as I know I’ll get it written up. See ya soon, keep checking for my update on this.

Here’s what we can look forward to seeing more often:
