Since my last post I have changed the look and feel of the site and I’ve given it a header image which I chose over the one I showed you on the previous post, looking back that one…it’s quite shit actually; but I’m very proud of the one I’ve got now! :D Also I have added a new ‘Arsenal Stats’ page which you can view by clicking the tab at the top.

If you read my article before about Roberto Carlos you will remember I mentioned that my’s friends mate is a Chelsea youth player and whilst having a look at the new dressing rooms he came across some new player’s lockers that haven’t been unveiled to the press yet. I’ve already told you about Roberto Carlos and said there was more names, and I’m told one of which was Andrei Shevchenko.

There is no doubting that Shevva is a real talent and would be a great addition to any squad in the world. It is widely known that Chelsea are interested and if my sources are correct then he has signed for the russians. He is 29 and is still in great form so you can understand that Milan are desperate to keep him but I think that it will soon be announced that he is the latest purchase by Roman Abramovich.

In other transfer news, Sol Campbell, our goalscorer in Paris is rumored to be joining Fenerbahce for something like 8million. Before the final I was desperate for Wenger to send him elsewhere but he did have an excellant game and he may be coming back to the old Sol we used to know. However I always assumed he’d go on a free transfer so if we were to be offered anything like that eight million pound figure then I don’t think anyone would turn that down. However the Turks deny having any talks with the Sol.

Thanks for reading.

[...] In other news, Wenger has come out saying that he just cant wait for the new season to start as he felt we were harshly done by last year: coming so close to winning the Champions League and finishing a poor 4th. Also he has claimed Rosicky was always the replacement for Pires and is the perfect man for the job. Arsene says he wanted to sign someone as soon as he knew Bobby was off to Villarreal and Thomas was his main man. And as I’m sure you’re probably aware Shevchenko has signed for the Russians for something stupid like £34m, and Chelsea have announced he will continue with his famous no.7 shirt. Remember you heard his signing here first on The Cannon. Hopefully my next post will be some good news, Arseblogger recommended we could remvove this story from the back pages by another signing. That would be nice. [...]
