Mainly becuase had i not chosen to support liverpool i would’ve suported arsenal. I love the atmosphere at our ground, and im well into football. But i realise when we deserve to win and lose, and we didnt deserve to win on this occassion.

The news I heard Chef is via the Irish media. Basically his advisors seem thick, which may explain the farcical situation. It’s reported that these ‘advisors’ felt Charlton were the best bet because… there was more money on offer. Retards. They were then happy to ‘advise’ him that Sunderland might not be so bad after the Odd Couple turned on the charm for him. And offered him more money (£17,000 a week is what’s reported).

I think he has been too hasty. No great offers have come in for him. He would have been as well staying on loan a while longer, maybe with Charlton, just to see how he did in the Premiership. If he did OK, he might have had more options come the summer. Sunderland and Pardew are not too inspiring.

Since only Irish-obsessed clubs (Sunderland and Celtic) and the very desperate (Charlton) came in for him, it suggests most clubs have not seen it as a gamble worth taking. He ain’t no Theo.
