Meh.

Can you blame me for taking so long with the match report? I still can’t be arsed to do it.

Just one of those games.

I suppose at least we got a point. Could’ve been more if Ljungberg wasn’t fouled, should’ve been a red card for that defender…the ref didn’t even give a free kick! I mean why would Freddie dive in that position anyway? Ah well, football a funny game and some referees are just fucking stupid.

And there was that goalmouth scramble too. I have no idea how we didn’t score from that. Ridiculous. Fair play to Newcastle they did throw their bodies at every ball and did really well to keep it out.

Shay Given got injured early in the game and I thought maybe it would make the game easier for our strikers but I can’t remember that reserve goalie having to make a save! Also, Diaby was playing upfront! What the hell was that about? He did gradually drop back but still what the hell. It does just show you how incredibly shit Baptista and Aliadiere are!

Another shit game…another shit match report. Arsenal give me some motivation, please.

We’ve got Bolton next. Anyone scared? I’m not, I’m just embarrassed. Now the first loss has happened at our new home I’m sure they’ll come flooding in now. Also, lose and Bolton could be taking that 4th place from us this season. Could you imagine playing in the UEFA Cup? I’m sure many of our players can’t and they’d move on.

Pardon my negativity but I really have lost all interest in this season.

Oh well. I’ll post soon. I will probably end up apologising for this post. If you want a match report, 1. There are others on other sites. And 2. Why would you want to depress yourself with it anyway?

Blah blah blah…see you soon.

ah. don’t get too down, mate. I wondered what happened to your post.

it’s more than clear that we miss henry and rvp for a bit of inspiration. i’m as worried as I’ve ever been while watching arsenal for many years now that we’re going to go 5th this year. I simply cannot see where the goals are going to come from. Freddie’s slow. Hleb’s no shooter. Fab’s getting closer to target but he’s still no shooter. Diaby’s too young to have the confidence to bull into the area. and on and on. notice I’m not even mentioning Baps and aliadiere.

I can’t remember another player I’ve been more disappointed with that Baps. At least Cygan worked hard. I think we can all see the general shape this team’s taken and its problems. Surely wenger can too.

We have no wide players to skip past the defense (and yes, those players are hard to come by, but we need to at least try to get one). Another striker. and personally, I still think we need a strong disrupter in midfield.

but that’s just my two cents. I know everyone is apathetic about teh rest of this season, but this is the most crucial time I can remember for arsenal. At least last year they were picking up steam towards the end rather than winding down. Each game they play right now just feels like a crapshoot.

Let’s support those gunners for just a few more games!

Baptista can be great. It is all down to confidence and he does not have it at the moment. Look at that cheeky Ronaldo last njight and see what he can do with his uberconfidence.

weekend game against Bolton will be quite crucial…
we jus played the third place decider some days agao and this now will be the fourth place decider…
Wenger might jus be looking for a draw from this game.. who knows.. and keep our two point lead over Bolton with a game in hand…
im not enjoying these fight for fourth place battles :)
we can only get better from here!!!

Chris Coleman sacked… shame really after all hez done for da club,

Less we analyze Arsenal these days the better for us.
I stopped watching Arsenal games I must admit, especially since the L`pool defeat. Can`t wait for the season to end.

i watched the manutd game and all through it i really wished it was us…but then again i dont see us winning by a 6-goal margin…we’ve been having trouble just scoring 1!

Absolutely depressed.

I know nothing we say can cheer ourselves up now. But as much as we want our players to keep a fighting spirit, so should we! I’m not saying we still aim to finish 2nd or 3rd, but keeping the 4h place IS a reasonable target, no matter how little we know about where the next goal’s coming from.

I have a sneaking hunch that wenger might raid the teams that go down for some players. west ham, possibly fulham, possibly wigan, they all have some class players that might be bought on the cheap.

You can’t stop watching Arsenal now. We’ve been so privileged to see our team play so well for so many years – now it’s not going so well we have to be RIGHT behind them. The Bolton game is just about the biggest game we will play this season – and I will be cheering along as much as possible from my living room in Australia!

10. BFG - 12 April, 2007

In spite of recent form I can’t wait to see the game at the weekend, we really need a result against Bolton, I expect nothing less than a good result for us, we need to break the Bolton jynx.
