I think there’s gonna be quite a few of these no-news days in the coming months. Kinda lucky for me really, I have my final exam project to hand in and I shouldn’t really be on here to be honest but thought I better do a quick update.
Johan Djourou has been talking about out young players and how they will make a big impact again next year. He also said he’s happy with the amount of games he’s got this season but hopes he can get even more appearances next season.
Alex Hleb has been praising Arsene Wenger and described him as “a coach sent by God.” Alex might need to get in Arsene’s good books as he looks like one of the people who could be on the way out in the summer. I think it’s more a fans’ wish than a reality though, Wenger rates Hleb much higher than the Gooners’ do and I’d be very surprised if he’s not with us come August.
And there’s more rubbish bits of news but s’nuffin you don’t already know about last season. Right, I must get on with my work.
p.s. it’s The Cannon’s 1st Birthday tomorrow…don’t expect anything special though.
Hleb is a major talent, we should all support him instead of slating him. He will be killer next year, write it down!
I thinkwe need to improve the goal scoring,and defend well on set pieces.This means that we do not defend as a team,and should improve on that.Eto!!!would be great.But Andy Jhonson could be the right man too,since he knows well the premiership.We need someone like him.
There is a lot more to come from Hleb. he was much better last season so there is certainly room for improvement. His last game against Pompey was a lot better than before! let us hope he continues it into next year.
so why woudl pleb be good in his 3rd season after ebing crap in two. of course he loves wenger. no other manager in the top 4 woudl put up with him.
happy birthday for tomorrow…..helb is a good player…..we need to remember he is playing in a new position, when we signed him he came to us as player who was playing just behind the front 2, now we have switched him to the wing, he needs to adjust to this postition
when we have him and rosicky on both wings we have been at our finest…i seem to remember helb comin on against the yiddos and changing the game (carling cup)
Hleb i like and he knows he has an issue in front of goal and one im sure Wenger will try and resolve. He already said in the same article that he had been working on finishing moves. With time he will develop that and im sure we can see an improvement on his goal tally next term; then if its good problem sorted, if not then you can slate him all you want as it will be apparent he’ll never be a good supply for goals.
Rosicky i fancy to notch up 10 odd next term permitting injuries and you can be sure they’ll be some special ones in their (i.e. Hamburg). Cesc shooting seems to be improving also. To be honest its a problem our midfield face and the only way they are going to learn to be fearless in possesion is by trying to catch a keeper unawares with a shot now and then. Hleb just seems to be getting the stick for the rest of the teams failings.
Spot on Daniel, when Hleb, Tomas, and Cesc play together which to honest hasn’t being a lot they all play well together switching plays and scaring the defends.
I think he has suffered mainly because of the injuries to other players, I think last season for him was a period of adjustment and this season to many injuries to the front men. Remember Hleb is a playmaker even on the wings, he love assists.
This drill they have being working on, shooting, will pay off. I think because of the way he plays he should score more goals without a doubt because he is very good on the ball. I think he should run at defenders and take on the keepers.
The thing I find funny is that even if Arsene doesn’t buy a single player, I think this team will suprise us with the way the will win trophies next season.
Why? It is all about patterns. Remember 2001? Miss, miss and miss. Remember 2002? Double.

Gallas, I aint a big fan. He talks too much. The kind of things you don’t want to hear,’I will be here for next season to see how we compare with Chelsea’, or something like that…
He has made as much errors as Senderos did last season. Senderos or Djourou did a better job than him. Gallas should cut those mistakes b4 he starts talking.
Double? No it gonna be a treble,,3!,, for gonners.
Senderos also signed a new long term contract. I am not sure why people are putting him among the players Arsene would want to sell.
Does anyone know when Carlos Vela is coming to Arsenal?

not knocking hleb but any midfield containing him, cesc and rosicky is so toothless its untrue. almost no chance of scoring goals from midfield with those in the side. hleb is more a replacement for Cesc than a winger. if he played in the middle as a playmaker I think we’d see the best of him. the way he cuts inside is too predictable. and why does he always shoot on his left foot?
