Beast

There’s a little bit of news since I last posted, which is nice, so I’ll just get straight into it. Julio Baptista has been told by Arsenal that we will not be signing him permanently and he’s now just expecting to go back to Madrid. My guess would be that he’ll move somewhere else, probably staying in Spain but I don’t think Real really want him. But that’s just my guess and I don’t have a fucking clue. Here’s what Julio said:

“Arsenal have told me they are not able to buy me and so all I can do is return to Real Madrid. I have enjoyed my first season with Arsenal and in England. I adapted well. I didn’t play much at first but finished much better. The first year is very difficult. The English league is very strong and very competitive with great teams.”

It’s a real shame it never worked out for him at Arsenal but I think the physical nature of the Premiership was even too much for ‘The Beast’. Speaking of Real Madrid, rumours of Cesc Fabregas moving have started up again. It’s a complete load of crap that’s not even worth me talking about so I’m gonna leave it there.

Tony Adams

Tony Adams has said he’d love to manage Arsenal one day. He’s probably our most famous captain and he’s loved by all Arsenal fans but in recent years he’s turned to the side of management. It would be quite special having Tony as our manager but he’s got a long way to go yet. He had a spell at Wycombe, which didn’t end so well, but at the moment he’s working as Harry Redknapp’s no.2 at Pompey. Here’s what he said:

“Managing Arsenal is the ultimate aim. The club was a massive part of my life. Who would not jump at the chance to do that job? Everything is in place – the backroom staff, facilities, training ground and scouting network is phenomenal.

I would love for Tony to become Arsenal manager one day but he has a lot to learn and is nowhere near our standard at the moment. Possibly one for the future, we shall see.

I mentioned the bollocks coming from Spain about Cesc to Madrid, well talk of Henry to Barca has started again which I think is quite ridiculous. Anyways, Eto’o has been talking about the possibility of him coming. It’s no secret that Samuel is a big fan of Titi’s and has said on a number of occasions it’s his dream to play with him. But to be honest Sam, if it’s gonna happen, you’re going to have to come here…and that’s not going to happen.

Finally, the scum have bought Garath Bale. There was a bit of talk about him coming to us but I never believed he would…I don’t think we really need him.

Have a good weekend.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s sad to see The Beast go?
Seldom does one see a player getting the odds against him in the same manner as Baptista. Injured for the first three months, getting into the team only when important others fell out through injury.
Now he had to play as a striker, when we all know that his best position was in the one Diaby had towards the end of the year.

Sell Hleb. He’s shit.

I am so happy about Baptista leaving. I might throw a sexy party tonight.

geirsan, you are the only one sad to see “The Beast” go. He was a joke as a striker and if you think he would’ve done better in Diaby’s role of an “attacking midfielder”, you are mistaken. He doesn’t have the control to play that position. Good riddance.

Bayern trying to get Robin, is that a joke or what? If Owen is worth £17m and Rooney £30m. Then Bayern should not think that the money they get from selling Owen will be enough to RVP.

RVP will not be sold not even for £40m, because I believe he is worth more than that. He is one of the few players that get me excited when he gets the ball no matter where on the pitch he is. He does some jaw dropping things at times. There new skills he has invented like his penalty kicks, nobody in the world has that precision and power. If you think I am lying take a look at some clips on youtube. E.g against Charlton and Man Utd.

When I say nobody I mean nobody.

Cesc £15m, that is just a joke. They have to break the transfer record to him. Top three most accurate passers in the world, and the playmaker of Arsenal for £15m, you see where I am going to right?

The beast was more like a pussycat who kept falling and been knocked over by smaller kitten.
He had poor ball control and was always making the wrong choice.
You could see that none of the other players such a Adebayor, Fabregas, Diaby trusted him.

arsaenal are rubbish and all their players are leaving

Just look at how many penalties The Beast had missed through out the season. *sigh* For Cesc, the future is great if he stays, for him and for the club, I guess he knows. Robin, he will definitely become the hero at the Emirates one day, perhaps he has. Just hope that next season he will be playing without so much injuries. :)

geirsan iam so dissapppointed of the beastz departure

I’m not dissapointed to see the beast go. Personally I too never really saw him as a striker. He had his chances – a fair few to say the least – but he never really made anything off it. Sure, it was his first year and its always hard, but there wasn’t anything there really.
Poom going to Watford is a surprise…anyway, we picked up Fabianski. We have two very good goalies anyway so this isn’t really a loss.

I like you way you refer to us as your own pet name. Its not just the mighty ‘spuds’ that use that term loosely when referring to a Woowich based outfit like yours. In fact I dare say you would’ve been better off building Cash Burning Grove or the ‘All New Immigrants Staduim’ down there. There are far more chavs that could add to ever increasing fans base of filth. What depressing times it must be for you lot sitting there, looking at the young promise that we are dancing with and succeeding to sign. ‘Well we didn’t Bale anyway’ – everyone wants Bale Einstein so you only make yourself look like a bitter twisted old bag by voicing such tosh. On the subject of Baptista, I would be happy if he stayed with you lot, he may have bagged a couple of goals against us but all in all I think he is a hit and miss player which suits your shrinking squad fine. Henry is leaving, as is Wenger at the end of next season. I think the offer of champions league football will be too much for them to resist. Once that happens then expect afew unsettled players to add their names to the transfer list because when Fabregas said he’ll play for ‘The Scum’ for the rest of his days, what he actually meant was that he’d play under Wenger wherever he was as his style suits the program Arsenahole play to under him. (Long ball!) That was a joke but I couldn’t help myself. Understandably most of the fans are putting brave faces on and saying this season the players will come of age like Fergies lot have with the help of Giggs, Scholes and Co, but I fear you are too far off the pace and the distinct impression I get is that there is also a feeling on unrest in the dressing room which in getting out of hand can go around that dressing room and infect player after player with the same cancer that saw West Ham in a lot of trouble this season. Don’t get me wrong but I think that both Spurs and Everton will improve their points return next season with Tottenham the one coming out on top as we have far greater resources available (60mil) to spend in this window than the real scouse team. This for me indicates a possible 6th placed finish for your Royal Woolwich cheating side that bought their way into the top flight so many years ago. That said, I feel for you I really do, I know what its like as a true fan of good football to go through the rough times. I only hope that these times last for many years to come as we are the original North London side and have an enviabl;e fan base that deserve to see you rot.

At least for me, it is not a surprise to the ugly beast moving out of Arsenal. There were even times when i considered Arsene wenger mad when I see him giving the golden opportunities and yet he made nothing out of all those. Any way he was definitely the wrong player who had joined to Arsenal eversince and i am so delighted to see him packing his bags. Sorry for him but he doesn’t have anything to stay at Arsenal with the most tactically talented players we know. He has a poor first touch for the ball, he never can run a meter or or two or either he has to be dispossessed. So every one has some thing to show at his level and as for me it is not his level for him playing to Arsenal and losing a thousand golden opportunities.Ahhhhh, that was a wonderful news to hear of his leaving……..
