It is a fact that Henry said:

“I’ve not taken any decision and my name is not up on any departures board. If something happens, I will tell everybody.”

Many Gunner fans seem to believe this means he wants to leave or thinking of leaving.

Well, I believe he is saying:

I do not plan or have taken an decision to LEAVE ARSENAL. And my name has not been put forward by the board as a player they would want to sell or intend to sell. HOWEVER, if something happens, (for example Barcelona gives Arsenal excellent offer that is hard to refuse, and they accept the offer, THEN I WILL TELL EVERYONE WHAT HAPPENED!!)

It is a fact he has said many times he loves Arsenal, and wants to stay, and I choose to believe him. The only problem is that, now Barcelona have not won La Liga, will they really go for Henry to cheer up their fans?!

Henry wants to stay but truly in the footballing world (as Henry is saying), anything is possible.

We move on Henry and receive a player in place of him who doesn’t want to be at Arsenal. Etoo wants to stay at Barca- no matter how good the player there is no point in signing someone how doesn’t want to be here. If Baptista had really wanted to be at Arsenal (and he didn’t) he would have signed for us last year. Fact is he was forced into the move by Madrid and thats one of the reasons why he didn’t perform. We’ll have the same situation with Etoo despite his undoubted quality. He’ll do nothing for us and Arsene will spout on about the adjustment etc.
