With fans like you Chico, who needs enemies? Have a bit of faith and belief in your team. People who aren’t Arsenal fans can see what a promising and talented team we have, why can’t you? The team needs our support – so it might not happen next season, but it’s so close you can feel it – patience is a virtue well worth cultivating.

I see what you mean, and I by no means think we’re in a really happy place at the moment, but we’ve got a much better foundation that we did five years ago, and perhaps that means in five more years time we won’t rely so heavily on one or two players – that’s why we get hit hard by this speculation, because one or two players leaving would cripple us more than teams that are more balanced.

I agree that we have a bunch of young talent, but we’ve kindof seen how all that works out. If we work up their potential and make them into star players like Fabregas, then other teams are just going to come in and pay a bunch for them. I think once we finally get over paying for this new stadium we’ll be back to normal and the housing development we’re building at highbury square will help to. It’s just a tough time for us right now in the transfer window

20 – Chico, you’re kidding right? Without spending anywhere near as much as the other top four we have a collection of some of the most exciting young talent in the world. People seem to miss that this team will improve without signings, but five years ago, the kids we had outside the first team were nothing of the quality we have now.

The future is still bright, don’t worry.

I hate to be a doom and gloom merchant but the good old days are gone. It’s not the same being an Arsenal fan anymore. Seems like we are almost back to the days under Bruce Rioch. Adios Fabregas, Henry, Reyes, Lehmann. It was nice knowing you. Thanks for the memories. We are now an average North London team.

It’s quite difficult that Arsenal finds itself in this kind of situation. At the time when we finished 4th for the second season running, it’s high time the team settled. Wenger is supposed to keep his best players and Henry is one of them. He needs the experience to support him and Wenger should now be looking for the right people. We surely need big names too! The kids are pretty good but they need more time to mature. But of course right now the decision for Henry to leave rests entirely on him, he is mature enough but i would rather he stays. The future looks bright and am the championship title this time is heading to AshBurton Groove. Look out for this page when that time comes!!!

I feel that the Board should be commended for allowing Wenger to decide on allmatters relating to football, which is not the case in most clubs, where the owners, board, hangers-on etc have their say ( most times in public). This goes on to show that the Board have trust in Wenger and wants him to stay.
I think that Henri will not be allowed to leave this season. We do not have a ready made replacement, yet. I know alot of people have drawn parallel the Henri’s situation with what happen to Viera. If one were to analyse Viera’s transfer saga, he was only allowed to leave when his young apprentice proved that he could out do his master.
I hope that Wenger spend some money in acquiring a good winger- that will complete the team.

stop perpetuating this bullshit about wenger not committing, he is doing nothing more than what he does with every contract.

every other time, he has finished his contract and then sat down and negotiated for a new one. one time he was out of contract totally for a while while organising it. this is just media hype and you should know it already
