It’s official 12 July, 2007

I’m sure you all know by now but yeah Bacary (apparently it’s not Bakari) Sagna has been officially signed. He’s said all the usual stuff a new signing says but this is what Wenger had to say:
“We are delighted to have signed Bacary Sagna. He is a very capable defender and has played consistently well for Auxerre in recent seasons. He plays mainly at right back, but can also play along the defence or in midfield. He is strong, quick and enjoys defending but also has a good offensive side to his game. He has a fighting spirit and will be a very good addition to our squad.”
So it sounds as if Arsene has plans to use him as a defender. Maybe Eboue will be pushed up to right wing? Especially with Ljungberg’s move looking likely. We’ll have to wait and see.
You can read Sagna’s full interview here and there’s all the stats and stuff here.
Only had time for a quick update of the squad pages. See ya.

1st gun
good signing but we still need a winger and a striker
2nd gun, top gun
good deal but we need more players…. we need martins and a few more or we have no chance even for forth!!!!!!
with a name like edski, those comments don’t surprise me.
clown!
Eboue might be pushed forward to wing then… that must mean bye bye Hlebby.
edski75 remind me not to let you give the half time team talk!!! All that lucky for 4th rubbish was said 4 years ago before we went on to win the league undefeated. Have a little faith.
edski is clearly a man with more exclamation marks than brain cells.
He definitly fits in with Arsenes plan of buying the Ugliest footballers in europe. I bet Hlebs well chuffed this freaks arrived
I wouldnt say bye bye Hleb , Eboue would be just a different option to Hleb on the right. A bit more directness down the line when its needed
oi….edski…call yourself a gooner , even with the squad we got we will still finish above them yids! which makes that at least 4th!!!
Is there one more signing-not a kid signing- someone ready at 23/24 ready to compete for a first team place?
Bacary whoa oa
Bacary whoa oa oa oa
His Mum’s from Senegal
He plays for Arsenal……
were not talking as much about this signing.
We’re sluts for strikers!
yup, glad the deal’s done and look forward to seeing him do well. I dont really know what this means for hoyte but it looks like sagna will be first choice right back due to not only the price but how adamant wenger was with this signing. Hoyte could be pushed into centre back we never know but i cant wait to see sagna in action seen him play a few times in patches looks a very solid acquisition for us. Now all we need is a world class centre back and the fight that martins brings upfront and we are READY.
i reckon that valeri bojinov – the guy who might be player exchanged for freddie will be a fantastic addition. he looks very strong, technically adept and is a big gam eplayer shown by his goals against inter and juventus when he played for fiorentina. hes versatile too.
Firstly, Edski….we finished fourth last year with the squad we have now, so as an ARSENAL FAN, we should be looking to improve on that. Also we finished 4th with no Thierry for half the season….Wenger knew it was time for him to move on and got the team used to playing without him. Secondly Hleb won’t be leaving, as DeiseGooner said, Eboue gives us another option on the right, its bye bye to Hoyte if anything! (Edski’s a Yid!!)
verstile how sol? Tell me more bout this guy.
I heard we were linked to him 2 years ago i think
who??? 7mil wasted eboue & hoyte are good enough
a nonny mouse – i had a similar song in mind, but my lyrics are slightly different:
Le Sagna, woah-ohhh
Le Sagna, woah-ohhh,
His mum’s from Senegal,
He plays for Arsenal…
Also, I reckon Eboue will be pushed up to right-midfield. I can see Wenger having 2 types of winger – on the left, the more creative one (Rosicky/Hleb), and on the right, the rapid one (Eboue/Theo). Unless he signs someone to play left-wing (or hypnotises Jose to stay…)
In regards to Martins Arsenal made an enquiry about the player yesterday morning/afternoon…He could be following da silva & sagna if a fee between Arsenal and Newcastle can be agreed
Well Sol?
23rd gun
bojinov has a rocket of a left foot and can play out wide left too..he’s strong and his finishing is second to none. Personally i would prefer martins due the fact that he has all the ingredients listed above but his strength is unreal and the fact that he’s not one 2 be bullied would come in handy against the lesser teams who may try and bully us. That fight is needed. Plus he’s proven in the premiership. Here is a bojinov compilation, might wanna turn off the sound cause the music sucks..but like i said his left foot is a rifle…same said about martins.
Bojinov:
i’d rather we signed babel at 11.5m than sagna at 7.5m
Arsene, if you are reading this, all that is left now is for us to sign Renato, Kerlon and Klass Jan Huntelaar to win everything on offer. See below
for Kerlon click the link below
for Renato click on the link below
For Huntelaar click the link below
Oh! and Arsene, whilst you are at it, do not forget to bring Carlos Vela in the fold. Come on you Arsenal!!!
Thank you for listening to me Arsene. I do not want you to turn this request down for lack of money, cos if that is the case, you and the Arsenal board can go and entice Bill Gates, or Carlos – the Mexican billionaire who is said to be currently the world’s richest man. Kronke’s 2 billion fortune can only just about buy Arsenal.
Dan
They are two completely different types of players..Babel is an attacking winger/striker, unproven in the premiership and the reason why we werent interested in the end was because the scouts who watched him for us at the euro championships didnt exactly come back with glowing reports..sagna’s deal may not even be 7.5 from what i understand its more near 6 million. Wenger was adamant about getting a right back and i trust him fully as all real gooners do. It’s quite clear judging from last season right back is not eboue’s best position his performances showed that. He is very dangerous on the wing and will provide that much needed width we needed, more options..something to be happy about..sagna is a quality right back he’s quick, strong and very importantly he seem’s very positive about the coming season..so dan, smile..we’r gonna be alrite. we will challenge.
Thanks rock.
I think that the age issue will be a turn off for AW.
some say that he’s 22 going on 28.
But I really like him (OM) too. Very direct and the big plus is that he has had a year to adjust.
If only for the age thing
I prefer the song by madness to be used:
(baggy trousers)
Baggy Saggy!
Baggy Saggy!
hahaha
The age thing and the african cup of nations this year thing…
rock,
i agree that neither eboue nor hoyte are good enough and hopefully this guy will prove to be, also agree that any signings to add to the depth of the squad is obviously a good thing . The point I was trying to make is that if money is tight and we all assume it is, right back was not a major priority, a strong centre back, a quality box to box center midfielder, wingers and and another forward are far more important. It makes me laugh how two weeks ago when babel looked liked he was coming and was saying all the right things people were beside themselves with excitement about him, now when wenger decided against it, he is suddenly crap and not good enough.
what’s it with stories about Hoyte? i really will be pissed off if true
dan wenger is never gonna splash out 11.5 million for ryan babel anyway lets be honest..i think once we sign martins our attacking options and potential will be unbelievable..I understand u talking about a midfielder but u gotto think about the fact we have gilberto, denilson, fabregas and diaby..u jus cant hold back that type of talen and sign sum1 else to come infront of them, the latter 3 will flourish to be top top top top central midfielders and cesc already is..gilberto we all know his qualities he’s one of the most solid and tactically aware around he just needs to improve his passing accuracy. Denilson and Diaby are both young and will become unbelievable players and i mean this season because wenger will give em the chance..I wanted more steel in midfield before infact i wanted reo coker, a solid no nonsense box to box midfielder (a die hard arsenal fan too) but then i understood what wenger’s trying to do here…look at the performances of diaby and denilson in last year’s carling cup…we had chelsea chasing shadows at times. I see this season as being super bright and i truly believe all we need is a world class centre back as senderos is surely not up2 the task and djourou wants experience on loan…and we just never know with gallas he could be gone 2mrw (his words…). So a centre back and 1 more additional striker (martins in my opinion as i’ve said loads) and it’s on next year regardless of what man utd, chelsea or liverpool do in the market..I believe in Wenger.
Talk to Terry Tibbs. He’s my super agent. He knows how to do business. He’s even got Chris Kiwomya and Eddie McGoldrick on the books.

Sagna/Hoyte/Eboue’ (RFB)
Toure/Sagna/new signing/Senderos (CH)
Gallas/Djourou (CH)
Clichy/Traore (LFB)
Gilberto/Denilson (DM)
Fibreglass/Diaby (CM)
Eboue’/Walcott/Hleb (RM)
Rosicky/Hleb/new signing (LM)
RVP/Ade/Eduardo/Bendtner/Walcott/new signing
could be the set up. we still need 2-3 players, buteven so we’re looking ok. I’m just liking the fact that we have versatile players and the first team won’t be changing too much which means team gelling/spirit can only be better this term…
that bojinov looks good!! but i bet you can watch some great videos of diego forlorn scoring crackers in the spanish league!!
Hey Blog Head,
Is your mother still giving bl*w jobs for a fiver? You know what they say: “it’s sweet with no teeth”. Give her my regards! I hear your dad is turning to the h*mo escort scene for a few extra buck… Like father, like son… Anyways, take care and hope your kids die of cancer!
No disrespect BUT I do not want Martins he’s age is questionable, he will be away when ‘Bayor is away, he costs more than babel and it’s just not Wenger’s style to spend so much jose aside, I believe we need pace upfront as none in our front line is particularly pacy unless Walcott is release from his wide berth or Dudu has secretly had a rocket installed over the summer, but otherwise if Hleb is returned to his rightful left sided position i think the team will regain its balance which is what Wenger has said he was trying to address, but with the loss of TH14 and the non returning antonio the only issue left, i believe is pace to make this team which im quietlly confident the surprise package of the top four, its looking like the only team of the top four to contain a lot of unknown elements.
all we need a is a top class wide forward..remeber wenger said he is looking at three world class players and the way arsenal play a quality wide forward is all we need. i do think we have over gone with the lack of wiidth..all that was lacking last season was clinical finishing …so some one like Robiniho or D Villa is all we need. we have to rmeber AW is yet to use any money from the club all he has used is the money he generated from selling players ..so i feel he has left the best for the last and kept is v quite..one more quality player is needed but not to finish forth but to win the title…come on arsenal lets blast the rest off
anyway we dont need no more strikers!!! get walcott playing up front,in his true position and watch him become the next henry!!!!!
Armourist YOU may not want martins but the arsenal manager seems to..the question over his age is not exactly hard to get to the bottom of as wenger wouldve done his research and yes i do agree 13 million is much which is why the deal’s not been done already but i’m confident a lower price can be agreed hopefully. As for pace, again martins your answer, fuelled with ELECTRIC pace.
I just love the idea of us coming out and surprise a few people who are still doubting us(arsenal)the team with the likes of dudu, rvp, ade and walcot, is a killer……..guys lets believe that we are going to click no matter what!! I have seen a few clips of dudu on youtube……….boy! he is a wonder! we wasted so many chances last season because we lacked a clinical finisher in the team………but boy! am excited to have rvp and dudu with the help if dudu……………..Oh, am glad we have signed a solid right back, good luck to eboue as he becomes our right winger for 2007/2008 season……………..helb is fine, but sloppy sometimes. He cost us the champions league.Bad boy, though good sometimes with flashes of brilliance
arsenal should change their rule about 30 years old and more tis is arsenals problem that henry and ljungberg leave pires viera and… there is no problem with players i think that arsen shouldnt make the team younger than this it can make problem for experienced players in arsenal
rock,
i agree that reo coker would have been a great signing and the player i would have bought. denilson and diaby may well prove to be great players but they are 19 and 20 years old, i do not understand why it is assumed that they need to be 1st team players at that age, feb grew up quickly but that was one young player developing around other experianced internationals. i think to have the two of them alone as back up for fab and gilberto is not good enough, denilson looked great in the carling cup but once he got that run in the team of about six or seven gamnes in a row, he was shown to be what he is a very talented teenager with great potential but not someone who can play week in week out at the highest level playing against top class players and dominating the game for us. the same goes with diaby, if we lose Fab or gilb for any period of time neither of them can do the job. also none of the four of them are strong box to box players, or strong tacklers and none of them no where the goal is. as for spending 11.5m on babel, wenger committed to 17m for reyes who was the same age and had less champions league and international experiance as babel has. not sure i agree about martins, i would rather see benny mccarthy or huntelaar. the question is where is the winger coming from? the options are dwindling, someone mentioned robhino or queresma, but we all know that aint gonna happen. 11m was probably the max wenger would spend and those options are clearly going to be alot more than that. so who will be the quality winger we are looking for?
The doom and gloom and general all round negativety provided by a toss pot press is well and truely over. A great addition to the squad. Lets not forget Eboue and Kolo will be off for African Nations so a defensive player was definitely needed. This signing should also shut up motor mouth Gallas as he comes with a fairly big reputation. Go out and get Martins now Arsene and I’m sure we can steal the league from chav united and chelski
Some of you guys are too negative! I hate it. Dan, u surprise me when u start talking about denilson and diaby, u have seen them play against bigger teams, age is just a number, but one has to use their head, i guess u are a 30+ year old man, but i cannot be surprised if i was told that u act like 12 year old boy because its the head that u use. so dont under estimate these 2 teenagers, fab is a teenager as well, but he is world class
i mention the age because it explains why they are currently not good enough to be first choice players over a period of time if we want to compete at the highest level. forget the age then. who do you think is more likely to win a championship a team with, lampard, essien , ballack and makele (not to mention mikel and sidwell), or gerrard, mascherano, alonso and sissosko, or scholes, hargreaves, carrick and anderson, or diaby, denilson, gilberto and fabregas. if you think our four can compete good luck to you. personally with a back up of flamini and song behind them, i think it is very weak in the most important part of the field. you correct about fab and he is alot better than denislon and diaby and if they were as good as him i would not be saying what i am, but they simply are not.
by the way i am over 30 and do not consider that to be an old man thank you very much.
hes got a pineapple…on his head
look at the centre midfielders of all the top 10 teams in europe and no one else has three 20 year olds, there is a good reason for that.
Do we bollocks need players!! I don’t give a hoot who the Russians and the Americans sign. Sit back and enjoy what Arsene is doing here. We have a fabulous young squad playing great football. Up the Arse
What most us forget is that last season we were the team that created so many chances but wasted them because we needed some one to put them away………..and its the same players that we have right now who created those chances………..Now, why do u fear, why are u afraid.we have a goal scorer now in dudu……..we have rvp back.so am very confident that our team is good enough to compete with the likes of makerere, ballack etc
from your mouth to gods ears!!!!!
there goes our chance to sign Babel. He just signed a long term deal with liverpool. What happened to his desire to play with us. He pulled an henry on our ass
what do you expect from babel clearly wenger didn’t want him and liverpool did, what do you exepct him to say or do.
exactly lol, u cant expect him to wait forever for a move to arsenal we simply werent interested enough to buy him. I do feel sorry 4 the lad however because benitez is not exactly the best manager in the world and under his nuturing, babel’s potential will most definately not be fulfilled. Benitez always wait’s until he see’s what transfer target’s fergie or wenger has in mind and then as soon as he see’s we’re slightly interested, he goes out n signs them..the pitiful rafa way.
I think, we need another player to replace Ade. We have Senderos to replace Toure, Sagna to replace Eboue, I don’t think Bendtner is a good replacement to Ade. If we sign Martins we have the same problem because he will go to play African cup. I would sign Quaresma or Adu or Nery Castillo.
rock, i think your assessment of benitez is very harsh, he has done more than wenger has done since he has arrived in england in 3 years ago.
Renato is a name ive havent heard mentioned yet what a siging he would be, is he available. I would much prefer a different option to martins if AW is going for another striker, what about fit again Dean Ashton wenger is probably still a fan
Dan am i reading your script correctly Benitez has done more than wenger since he arrived in england????? What, Wenger changed the face of english football, won 2 doubles 3 league titles, had a team unbeaten which will never be repeated playing the best football on the planet. And was the main man behind the new stadium, training ground and developing youth football. What the fuck are you a liverpool fan
I think Renato wolud be an excelent sign.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzxD5MAuetc
no i meant since benitez has been in england ie the last three years. two euro finals (winning one) and fa cup win and finishing above us for the past two years. obvioulsy not since wenger has been here. i am not saying he is a better manager etc all i am saying he was very harsh on beneitez who has had suceess and done a pretty good job. this is a big year for them considering who they have bought and the squad they have now. (better than ours i think)
He’s blond – he’s quick – he made the yiddos sick – Le Sagna Le Sagna!!
I hope their is a surprise and 1 more player arrives, but i doubt it.
We still have to shift Reyes/Freddie, so maybe their might be some money left in the kitty.
i heard the rumours arsenal are in for martins, and AW went to tynside straight after the sanga deal was done to try an strike a deal for him, but bojinov will be a gd sining as well
Martins looks promising, no way he will turn down a move to us. Even though he will go to ANC we will still be ok up the top. RVP, Bendtner, Dudu and probably Ade. Lets be honest he probably will get himself kicked out of the squad again when the tournament comes around! As I said Martins would be the missing jigsaw piece in our puzzle for league glory. We came top when playing the other top three, smashed united home and away, liverpool at home and in my opinion should have done chelski home and away. Our only problems come against the shit sides. But Diaby is back and with him in the centre of the park there is no way we are gonna keep getting bullied.
As to Benitez I respect him but think his football is way too negative. He will hinder Torres as he did with Morientes and Morientes was more of a proven goal scorer. Babel thing is just a copy. He knew about our links, and when we turned him down made a move.
rosicky is mustard, that’s the precise point i tried to make to dan..benitez has not proved himself in the premiership and at times the champions league is not always down to great management it has a lot 2 do with your luck on the night..the brand of football his team play is poor and i’m not being harsh dan im speaking the truth, he has reached no way near the level of success that wenger has and simply cannot be compared with him.
u are a very negative man dan..
To say diaby and denilson arent even good enough for midfield cover is beyond me – and yes u are saying that because gilberto and fabregas are not getting shifted out the first team that easy especially now that gilberto is captain..do us all a favour and watch diaby next season, watch denilson next season – watch how they dominate, for only then u’ll be able 2 have ur questions answered. You complain way 2 much if u cant see wenger’s dong his best in the transfer market to bring in WHAT WE NEED, not jus any old signing u want..crying over a winger..we have so many options now..walcott, van persie, rosicky, hleb, they can all operate on the left wing…just as all of them can play on the right, including eboue now that he looks to be free of his right back duties..stop crying – start believing.
again i wasn’t comparing them, i stated that in the 1st post about it, all i said it was harsh to say he was a crap manager. his record in spain and here are ceratinly not bad. as for the style mourinho is a complete git and they play crap football as did porto but you can not call him a crap manager either.
17 million spent.. since january. 23 million came in plus another 15 million to come for Reyes, Freddie, and Flamini. so AW still can make other buys without breaking the bank. But bot to pay mad money for untried talent.
When AW finally does talk it will be interesting to see what he says about Ebuoe, and Hoyte.
rock,
i am trying not to be negative, just saying what i see and believe in a very calm rational manner. i hope to god to be proven wrong. i am sure we will all discuss as the season starts and progresses and hopefully they will do the business. but if you are being honest to yourself surely even the most optimistic must feel a sense of frustration and annoyance at how far we have fallen in the past three years, realistically where do you think we are going this year?
in reference to the list of possible wingers, not one of them (walcott maybe at some time in the future, but certainly not last year) are real wingers, who attacks defenders gets to the byline. there are very few arsenal fans who do not believe we play way too narrow and do not have enough width.
GALLAS has posted much more postive mssage on his website.
There’s no escaping it, the holidays are over… The three weeks have flown by and it’s back to work now as my training starts with Arsenal on Wednesday.
It’s an opportunity for me to meet the new arrivals, get to know them and to see my team-mates from last year again.
I’m well aware that I’ll probably be an even more important leader in the Arsenal team in the 2007-2008 season. Now that Thierry Henry has left, I’m one of the most experienced players in the group along with Jens Lehmann. I’ll therefore have a big responsibility to guide the younger players and advise them on how to approach matches, handle fatigue and pressure…
However, let’s not forget that we’ve got a lot of sporting ambitions and that we’re going to do everything we can to win a title this season, either the Premier League, the Carling Cup, the FA Cup or the Champions League. I’m sure it’s going to be a big year for Arsenal!
So my fabulous holiday in Guadeloupe is now behind me but it gave me a chance to rest and recharge my batteries to the full. I’m back in England feeling rested and ready for the new season…
Sagna gives us so many options on the right hand side now – many combinations to experiment with: http://tinyurl.com/25qzgn
dan, wake up, stop listening to the hype about this need for out and out wingers..barcelona similar football to us do they play with out and out wingers no, they play through the middle like arsenal wenger realises that it is good 2 have the option which is why eboue is deployed to the right wing because he will have chalk on his boots.
[...] It’s official [image] I’m sure you all know by now but yeah Bacary (apparently it’s not Bakari) Sagna has been officially […] [...]
sagna is very good signing but still we need one top striker and one winger player
we dont need ne more strikers we have – da silva, abebayor, v persie are good enuff we also have theo walcott and bendtner. sagna is a good signing Bcoz hleb is excellent but reckless and plays on the right wing. sagna is a rock solid defender on the right – perfect defensive cover. arsenal will win! – and aliadiere will out score tores
Blog head is scum / Clock end gooner,
I still love you
Arsene, sign Di Maria please!!!

I really can’t read this kind of shit… Eboue not good enough? Why? During the season he was mainly injured, but look at statistics – Eboue got 5 assist in EPL, just one less than leader – Nicky Shorey. You don’t really know how good is Sagna (probably most of you), but he’s your first choice right back – sick. I also disagree with them, who tell that we need another striker – Martins, Martins bla bla bla. RvP was enormous last season, Adebayor is great, he always play with heart, we’ve got also cool finisher Eduardo and big Scandinavian hope – Bendtner. Walcott is there too. We need a winger – Gamst Pedersen would be fantastic in Arsenal. One Norwegian portal told that Wenger made offer for him (5,2 mln pounds), but Blackburn refused it. I think that offer in region 7 – 7,5 mln will be enough. Pedersen scored 6 goals and got 12 assist last season in Premier League, his set pieces are amazing. When we sell Reyes, we can invest in Gamst. Btw – hope and faith – there are the only things which Arsenal need from You – Gunners. Sorry but my English is not so well
NEWSFLASH – Sol Campbell is making a sensational return to spu*s – only because he found out the strikers were Bent & Keane
NEWSFLASH – Arsenal to sign Eto’o because he’s sexy and has a great body
Reyes is back @ Arsenal
Reyes is heading back to arsenal
Reyes is licking his own testicles
I dont really think that we need a winger, but I do not agree that we play narrow football either. Yes our midfield players cut inside and go direct, but this is to drag fullbacks out of position to allow our lightning quick full backs the space to run into. We have been doing this ever since Wenger came and it has worked well. We dont or should I say didnt cross the ball as our forwards were not that good in the air (play to your strengths).
I think that the 2 signings (not counting the keeper) are great. Last season we could not finnish the endless chances that we had – Wenger has addressed this and brought in a prolific goal scorer, I know some people are saying that he has not played at this level before, but so what, give a predator the chances and instinct takes over. Eboue has no concentration at all and has constantly been caught out of position – Wenger brings in one of the best young full backs in europe. I have seen him play a few times and he looks like a full back in the mould of Winterburn, runs all day and loves a hard tackle. Again some people will argue that he has only played in the French league – Remember Petit? remember Anelka? remember Clichy?. Not to mention other stars who played in French Football, moved to a bigger league and were world beaters. If its good enough for George Weah then it cant be bad.
All the teams buying players by the boat load will have problems in team selection, morale of players, gelling together and working out an understanding on the pitch and the big factor of will the actually adapt – Wenger has kept a young side who have played for quite a while together and this will be our strength next season.
gunner from poland – poor knowledge…what was said about eboue was not about his assists but his defending ability, read – and learn. “adebayor plays with his heart” yes very true..however he cannot finish, and he can run around and work his socks off all day if there is no end product wenger will shift him out of the side make no mistake if bendtner shines ade will be out the door – u dig? n u have the nerve to say sagna is shit when u havent even given him chance and u call urself “gooner” from poland? arent u a “fool from poland”? u think wenger’s stupid enough 2 splash 6 mill on a right back without knowing he will be a major asset? ur brain is quite obviously leaking. So u are also questioning wenger then? when saying “martins bla bla bla bla blaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” because it is quite clear wenger wants him..and ur opinions suggest the opposite to what the club wants..u were right about 1 more thing tho..the fact that ur english is crap, well said. I suggest u understand the game before criticising every1′s comments branding them “shit”.
I never label Sagna as “shit”, I don’t know where do You read this. I am true supporter of Wengers’ transfer politic, and I’m sure that Sagna is a great move of manager. But Eboue is fantastic right back, and his defending ability is good. For example Gallas was truly weak, especially in set pieces, but he is a big name and Eboue isn’t.
“I suggest u understand the game before criticising every1’s comments branding them “shit”.” – Believe me, that I understand game well. I have different opinion on some sides of this game. But it doesn’t mean that I’m “fool from poland”. You’re right, I go overboard with “shit”, but You also should learn some savoir-vivre rules. Regards.
YOU ARE ALL CUNTS! I’M THE ONLY TRUE GOONER AROUND HERE YOU MUPPETS!!!
clock end gooner, youre a disgrace
Wow ! eboue moving to the middle? whos gonner stop us this season? you lot are deluding yourselves, we are in for a tough season and perhaps you should all take your “rose tinted-wengers a god-glasses off”, we have been left behind in the transfer market and no amount of waffle about the youngsters can paper over the cracks. move on people and stop trying to convince yourselves that we are going to have a great season. Lets see how many of you are here raving at the end of the season.
There really are some muppets out there who dont accept any critisism from any quarter. its people like you that are holding arsenal back coz your stuck in your little comfort zone, an imaginary world where everything is just wengerful. he has transformed arsenal, no mistake, and obviously without him we wouldnt be anywhere near as good as we are, but where has the great man been this week when we unveiled our new addition? where was the great man last week when we unveiled our croation “sensation”? mourinho, benitez and fergie have all been there to show off new additions but from arsenal………. nothing, why? and when are we going to hear from the board about the direction we are taking? We may as well call ourselves the arsenal mushrooms…. always left in the dark!!!
ooh too, u really r quite disturbing with all ur negativity, n u call other’s muppets hahahahaha.. u mock the signing of da silva 2..ur little rant just proves all u negative cry babies out there WANTING arsenal to flop so u can say i told u so are incredibly sad..If u knew anything about football u’d know it’s not all about big name signings. wenger started this project with the youngsters n he’s gonna add in the area’s we needed 2..and we are doing so – what is ur problem, let the other clubs do what they want..its about what we’r doing that shud matter 2 u and we’r making the rite moves as far as im concerned if u wanna have a go at any1 at arsenal have a go at the board..there’s actually some reason 2 do so..but to also question the whereabouts of wenger during the signings..wtf shud that matter..he’s written what he’s needed to on the arsenal website regarding the signings theres no god forsaken rule where a press conference has 2 be undertaken after every signing for all we know hes there working hard behind the scenes looking to recruit more..which is what i believe he is doing along with being focused on the squad and focused on making sure that we DO have a great season..and no crying lil squirrels are gonna make me think differently – I BELIEVE WE WILL WIN THE TITLE. ARRRSEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
why are u mugs watching other teams soooooo haard, i mean who cares if wenger isn’t at the press conference believe me he’s doing his part like he always has done. Arsenal will be a frightening force this campaign because we still have true talent and as the stats pointed out we perform waaaaaaaaaa better when Henry isn’t/ wasn’t playing or when he did play good. so what does it matter if we haven’t signed a “Torres” we had that quality already in the dressing room. So to all you fake Arsenal supporters stop watching Names and start watching talent just as the great Weng Cheng has been doing for the past 10 years…………. I shall now retire. YUP!!!
Hey rock, i admire your optimism for the forthcoming season and you make some good points but you have to delve deeper than the old argument about transfers. Only today cesc admitted that he has spoken to madrid over the summer, thierry has gone and not a squeek out of wenger about his long term intentions. What is sad is your inability to accept any form of critisism, and resorting to cheap jibes. Ooh too is totally missing the point with their over the top assessment f our situation but in some ways i agree with his/her opinion that we are being left in the dark about several issues. Come on Rock, loosen up a bit and discuss these issues and convince me where you are coming from.
by the way, ive seen some footage of this Bojinov fella and he looks the biz. How strong is the rumour?
think berbatov but twice as good with a bullet shot!!!!!
AFC IS A TWAT AND HE HAS NEVER BEEN TO ASHBURTON GROVE IN HIS SAD LITTLE LIFE! ‘AVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh dear…
…….spongebob and squarepants must have finished
You guys kill me. if you had money you would not buy Da Silva (the dude who scored against England once). You would have signed Tevez or Torres or at least someone recognised as a good player, why would Wenger buy an unknown if he could buy a superstar it does not make logical sense. The bottom line is he has to buy unknowns and pray to god they end up good because that is the only option he has. + Arsenal are behind in their stadium payments. They should have stayed at Highbury where the pitch was soo short no1 could cross. Arsenal need to qualify for the Champions league this year otherwise goodbyre Wenger goodbye Fabregas (OVERRATED what has he done that is soo good? he does some good passes if he was that good say I do not know Ronaldo standard Arsenal would not have finished infourth. Fabregas 4 goals, Lampard 21 goals and Lampard got slated this year, that does not really make sense to me. Tottenham will be very close to Arsenal next year.
bullshit spurs will be closer to arsenal. They will be further away, still shite
IT’S SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS! NOT SPONGE AND SQUAREPANTS YOU RETARD AFC!
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO ASHBURTON? HAVE YOU FUCK!!!
