Just a quickie today ‘cos I’ve got work in a bit but I’m just gonna point out an article on GloryFootball.com that I have written. It’s a nice little site that new to the world-wide-web and might be worth ‘avin a butchers at. Here is what I wrote for the article:
Your view of Arsenal last season
Last season was very average for an Arsenal fan. Were never in the title race, the FA Cup disappointed and an early Champions League exit was terrible. We did well in the Carling Cup with our youngsters losing in the final to Chelsea. Other than that the double over United was brilliant.
Your view on the season ahead for Arsenal
07/08 will be interesting, Henry’s gone but Van Persie will have a brilliant season in his absence. He looked good last year but got injured halfway through; he still ended up our top scorer though. Walcott and Adebayor will also be looking to step up and I predict good things from those two.
Eduardo was incredible at Dinamo Zagreb scoring more goals than appearances last season; lets see how he does in England. I predict 4th again, the top three have strengthened this summer and will be too much for us. Give our young side a year or two and the title will be back to where it belongs.
Who is your enemy and why?
The enemy? Well there can only one answer to that, Spurs. I despise everything about their players, the manager, their fans and the club. Growing up as a Gooner, this hatred was forced upon me, but I generally loathe this team and seeing them slip-up brings a smile to my face.
Where you think you’ll finish in the Premiership this season?
4th
Right that’s all the copying and pasting I can do for ya today. God this is hard work. Laters

all we need is someone to replace henry and i can see anelka doin tht not silva..if we end up wit anelka thn we can be back challenging so wenger shud go for him….
thts all we need
4th?? FOURTH???
Don’t be too optimistic.
With a name like franny jeffers i can see you are an optimistic chap! The bar of competition has been raised to such a level now that the premiership is no longer a two horse race. Before it used to be Arsenal-Utd slugging it out, now the russians and yanks have made investments too. To add to that, then spuds are throwing money at transfers, maybe they’ll be in with a shout (they f*ckin wish)! I would welcome the signing of Nicolas Anelka, hes a class act no doubt and a few years older and wiser. This kid had so much potential to become the most prolific striker to play the beautiful game and im sure he would like to bow out of his career playing for a bigger team then Bolton so why not come back to his old mentor?
i actually disagree and i thinnk we’ll finish higher up than wedid last year. if we’ll win the title is another story but we’ll give it a better go. does anyone (like me) feel like we probably need 1 or 2 more super class players? a left sided winger and/or another top forward????
Anelka???WTF
So what we meant to expect him to come in and turn it on week in week out!! You kidding yourselves. Anelka is not the answer. I would hate to see RvP , Da Silva or Walcott sitting on the bench so Anelka can start!
We will finish 2nd or 3rd. Liverpool will be strong, but they not going to have the consistency to maintain a title challenge. Man U will probably be top, and Chelsea are just going to be a year older and a year shitter!
Laron, I am with u on that one. I think last season we lost to teams that were at one point or another in relegation fight: West Ham, Man City, Fulham, Sheffield etc. Teams that we looked down on. We took 6 points off Manure, Chelsea lost 4 points playing us, 3 points off Liverpool and 4 points off Spuds.
That is 15 points wasted. Add that to other couple of draws and you are there or therabout. Come on guys, our strikers wasted so much that we should have castrated them. Games we had last season did nothing to my blood pressure. I’m glad Titti is gone by his choice and think many more ppl will stepit up to show they have something between their legs.
Dont be fooled by silly talk, Sir Fergie has just done a replenishment of his ailing team paying over the odds. And he as much admitted something recently if you can read between the lines. I think Terry has a lot of mileage on his engine and will be exposed a la Campbel this season. Spuds are getting stronger but they will take time to gel by which time we will be stronger, much stronger. We need Anelka, Curtis Davis and a winger even if its Reyes as might not be interesting alongside Robben.
Gallas will be kept coz of African championship but he is as good as useless. Him and Toure are not complementary but Toure is better.
ARSENAL 4 EVA
4th ???!!! for crying out loud … we may just endup being third this season … ideal would be second … but third is a good target for this season …
