Merry Christmas everyone, hope you’ve all had a nice day and Santa brought you everything you wanted; he did for me…we’re top of the league. It’s back to the wonderful world of football tomorrow as we travel to Portsmouth in Boxing Day’s late kick off. They’ve done quite well this season and have caused a lot of teams problems. However they’ve lost their last two games against Spurs and Liverpool. They’ve been very good away from home but at Fratton Park they haven’t looked the same team.

I’m fairly confident about tomorrow, although they’re not a bad side, I’d be quite disappointed if we didn’t take all the points. We’re on a high at the moment and Portsmouth will not be looking forward to our visit.

They lazy bastards at Arsenal.com couldn’t even be able to work on Christmas Day so I have no injury news. The latest looked quite good with only minor problems to Walcott and van Persie. Theo had the flu, I don’t know if he’s recovered from that yet and Robin had that muscle problem that made him miss the Spurs game; Arsene said he could be out for this game too so I very much doubt that he’s going to bring him back unless he’s made a very quick recovery. Theo could be in the squad though.

I think it’ll be the same line up as our last game, the 4-4-1-1. Almunia, Clichy, Gallas, Toure, Sagna, Eboue, Fabregas, Flamini, Rosicky, Hleb and Adebayor. I’m pretty sure of that line up and I’d be quite surprised if it was anything else. The only possibility would be Bendtner earning himself a start, which wouldn’t be a bad decision.

I really don’t know what else to write. I could go on and on feeding you useless stats about Arsenal and Pompey but I can’t be arsed and I know you probably wont read it anyway. Plus it’s Christmas Day, I have some more drinking to do and see what crap is on the TV. I’ll speak to you on Thursday, thanks for reading and Merry Christmas.
