Denii is not injured if he was it mus have jus been a nigggle coz it has not been mentioned and he is in the squad,he really needs to play and actually remind us what he is really good at,his got a good shot on him but um not sure his really in the mould of Cesc like we were told to believe i feel his more defensive but not up to standard in that as well.

i think we are going to play with a formation like this

I’ve heard denilson is out, but wenger mentioned nothing. I’d like to see him play on the right to see what he can do. he definitely needs to get some games under his belt so he can help us out more next year. I can’t quite figure out what style of player he is yet.

Is denilson a defensive midfielder? box to box? a passer like cesc?

As for the ‘behind closed doors friendly’, it was hardly a competitive match, so players could have just as easily been injured in a training game. You can hardly wrap them in cotton wool. Theo played 20 mins on Tuesday, so I could see why Wenger would give him a run out in preparation for Wigan. Since he doesn’t own a crystal ball, he can’t be held responsible for not forseeing the outcome.

Quite daft to risk first team squad players although Denilson probably needed a gamE to be fair.

I’d move Tomas on I’m afraid. He seems too frail for the pace of the EPL [though I thought that about Helb originally].

As for wide players he can play Justin Hoyte at FB and push Sagna forward on the right. Can’t take Cesc or the Flamster out of central MF, even with Gilberto available. Is Djourou fit yet because he can play MF if necessary?.

But the squad is thin and I fear that that will kill us in the end in all competitions.
