Ur post could be the most sensible one so far under this topic, even I admit my posts are very bias towards wenger alot.

After all, why wouldn’t he wanna buy more players? And more importantly, why wouldnt he want to win things more than us? There might be somethin behind what we know.

When you are under debt, how can you claim that you have enough money for buying a new player? Please, don’t get me wrong dude. I think, Arsenal board is lucky that they have a manager like Arsene Wenger. Indicating the recent disagreement between Liverpool boss Benitez and Liverpool chief over Gareth Barry move, I want to say that Wenger is not someone who always to try to show his best whatever he is given at the stock. Everybody knows that Arsenal is under debt because of buying the new stadium, and everybody including Gunners board also knows it very well that Wenger is not a demanding coach like other teams.

To be honest, I agree with you on the fact that Arsenal does need a centre midfielder, at least to bolster the reserve in the midfield, so that Wenger can have enough options in the midfield whenever it is needed, be it for injury or for resting players during the busy closing months.

I think, Wenger mostly tried to sign Gokhan Inler, who was valued at 10 m pound. With Inler’s refusal, Arsenal boss is now left with two options: Barry and Alonso- who are valued in the range of 18 m pounds. Who knows, that might be the problem.

At the end, I think, sometimes we criticize Wenger overly, what he does not deserve, given that he has lots of restrictions.
