Otehr clubs have a really strong crowd of fans that become the 12th man. Arsenal have the pressures of their own fans.
I doubt fans would hurl abuse had Cesc or v.Persie…..Racialist, sickening and sad people. Tke a goooood look at youself people.

I think fans are frustrated with Wenger and don’t necessarily dislike Eboue. This season, Wenger has treated the first team like a petri dish…experimenting with young, inexperienced, and, in some cases, rubbish players to play alongside our five world class palyers (Sanga, Clichy, Cesc, Van Persie, and Adebayor). Arsenal is considered one of the best clubs in the world, we are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, and we have Eboue, a reserve RB at best playing left wing for us? We have a 20 year old kid who isn’t good enough at the moment (Denilson) playing right wing?! We have an inconsistent youngster (Song) partnering Cesc in midfield?! If Cesc gets injured out starting midfield would be Denilson and Song? I don’t think that partnership is good enough for a relegation zone team much less what is supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in the world.

As you can see, i’m a bit frustrated. Bit this is the frustration that triggered the booing of Eboue in my opinion.

I think many fans genuinely beleive him not to be good enough over the long-term to play for our club and it was a clear message to wenger of what they thought. It was not an attempt to hurt Eboue. That is the regrettable thing about it, but Arsenal is not a charity. the fans pay good money and want quality players on the pitch who actually are prepared to put in the effort if they lose possession etc. clearly he was nowhere near match fit and between Eboue and Wenger they should have known that. wenger should not have brought him on for what would be over an hour of football.
for my money, Eboue is a decent backup right back to help Sagna out and give him rests. I dont think we should sell him but I dont think he is much of a winger.
fans wont hate eboue, and if he puts the effort in next match then the fans will get behind him. I wouldn’t bet on it though because I think he has a problem with attitude on the pitch. Arsenal fans want to see him roll his sleeves up and get stuck in and play his heart out. I’m not sure he can.

And then Wenger says Eboue was a DANGER,what about you Mr Wenger.Are you not a danger by playing players out of position.You did the same with Diaby last season.This has got to stop play players in there rightful position

Song is a better defender than Alonso. Of course i do not want to settle for Alex, but we cannot just go for Alonso because he is Spanish and a good passer.

Hopefully, if we were to sign him, he would do a great job, but he will never replace whatever falmini, Gilberto and even Song gives us.
