Correction – Robin could be back for New Years 16 November, 2009

Arsenal.com have officially announced RVP’s injury and are estimating him out for six weeks. He’s very lucky because it really could’ve been anything. He’s not actually back under Arsenal care yet but he’s flying back this week and will continue his rehabilitation with us.

In my last article I said he could be out as long as March. This is what I was told, probably shouldn’t have taken it as the final word but I wasn’t really thinking. So sorry about that. I’m kind of taking today’s announcement as a bit of good news but at the same time I’m not going to expect him to be fit and ready on New Year’s Day.

Although in the last year or two he’s turned his injury record around we all remember how Robin used to suffer with his problems. I’m not counting on him coming back in six weeks but if he can return inside January that’d be great.
